My sister, Annette, had her baby a on June 18th. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz. and is just the cutest little thing. They named him Alexander James Barney, but they will be calling him Zander. I think it is the cutest name. I still get so excited everytime one of my siblings have a child. I love being an aunt. I just wish I could see them all more. I miss my kids!
Anyway, here are some pictures of the little stinker!

Fun, Fun, Fun . . . And Happy Fathers Day
Well, the job search is still on for Ryan and I am still working many hours. But at the end of everyday I so grateful that I have my baby and my wonderful husband. He is the best and I hope he knows how much me means to me. Yesterday we spent all day rearranging and cleaning and he went along with everything I said and did so with a willing heart. I love you Ryan! Happy Father's Day.
Over Memorial Day weekend my brother and his "friend" came down to look into school at ASU! (I would love it if they moved down here, but I'm not pushing anything!) He kept telling me that they were JUST FRIENDS and nothing more. Well when they got down here I could tell (through tired eyes and all) that they were more than that. We went out to eat and they held hands under the table (thinking we couldn't see. RIGHT!!! I'm not stupid!) Anyway, on Saturday we were at the mall and they went and picked up there ring. Yes I said there RING! Well, they pretended all weekend that they were engaged, but when they headed home on Monday, they informed me that they were just kidding and that the ring was fake. Well, I had already taken the picture of them in front of the ring store so here it is. I was mad, but it has worn off and I have really grown to love Alice and have gotten to know her a little better! I agree with Cameron, she is great! Here is a cute picture of them outside LeeAnn's apartment. I don't know why it is so small, but it's cute anyways!
Landon introduced Kayden to some biter biscuits and Kayden enjoyed this one after going swimming with the Westovers.Kayden in his wave rider! He loved it. He always has that smile on his face. He is so precious!
Me and Kayden in all my glory. Kayden is cute! I look . . . horrible!
I check on Kayden every night before I go to bed and this is how he had fallen asleep on night. I couldn't beleive it!
We have a sliding glass door that goes from our den to Kayden's room because the den was built on and Kayden can crawl up that step now and this particular night he crawled back under the curtain and he was laughing at me through the window. It was hilarious.
I love this kid. He has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. He is so darn cute!
Playing in his favorite spot again. Between his room and the den!
He loves his pacifier. I don't know if that is a good thing, but it works for now!
Kayden loves to help his dad with the laundry. Yes, Ryan does most of the laundry!
Last night we had to higher the side of the crib because he was almost jumping over it. He thought it was so funny.
Pulling himself up on everything is his newest thing. He also loves to hold on to our fingers and walk everywhere, but he walks so funny. He is a high stepper!
Waving his arm! It is so funny! He does it all the time!
Well, I hope you have enjoyed my little man! Remember him in your prayers! He goes in for his testing on Tuesday! Read about it in the post below if you don't know what I am talking about! I love you all and I hope to hear from you all soon. Leave a message on my blog and I will respond back!

In all our craziness . . .
There are no words to describe what we have gone through the past month. It has been a very long and trying month, but we have learned so much. Ryan was laid off from his job so we spend most of our days looking for jobs. I have been working more hours so we have some money coming in, but life happens and we are dealing with it. Needless to say, I have a lot on my plate right now! I am usually really good at updating my blog and, as you can see, I have been horrible at doing so! I apologize for that! I have, however, been taking pictures of everything while I have not been posting. Also, remember Kayden in your prayers . . . he is going in for some testing on the 17th of June. The closer it gets the more nervous I get. He is going to Phoenix Children's hospital and having what is called a Barium Swallow test done. For some reason Kayden has been spitting up really bad. He will eat some baby food and he is still spitting it up 6 hours later. It is really bad and he is beginning to really hate that he does it. I feel so bad for him, but hope they can figure out if anything is wrong. I will let you know what is going on with him. But just remember him in your prayers.
And last, but not least! LeeAnn was watching Kayden and she heard him fussing and so she went to check on him and he was stuck under his crib! When he crawls he sticks his little cheeks up and so that was making it so he couldn't get out from under there! Crazy kid!

Do you have cruise control??? . . . Use IT!!!!
So we went to Utah last weekend to see my cute pregnant sister, Annette (and her husband, Neal) and my grandma Bingham, who isn't doing so great! It was a wonderful trip and so much fun! It was too fast though! Ryan's little sister came with us so it was a lot of fun. Elyse and I picked Ryan up from work on Thursday night and we drove to Vegas and had gotten a room on Priceline. Then we left early the next morning and took a little detour around Ryan's mission stomping grounds! A lot of the families had moved so we didn't stop to see anyone! When we were almost to Nephi, Ryan got pulled over for going 90 in a 75 zone! Funny thing was that he had been pulled over in that same area almost 2 years ago. The officer was very upfront with Ryan about it and told him he was going to get a ticket. So the officer wrote him up for 10 over so we didn't have to pay the higher ticket. So the officer then looked in our car and said, "You have cruise control on this thing! I suggest using it!" This officer was so much nicer to Ryan than the last one! That night (Friday) we went to Ryan's mission reunion. Ryan had a lot of fun talking to old mission buddies and I had fun trying to get Kayden to fall asleep! We then went to Annette and Neal's house and stayed with them and there dog, Oakley! She is an amazing dog. I didn't know a dog could be trained so well! The next day we saw Cameron, my dad, and my grandma and aunts that were at my grandma's house. Annette and Neal were amazing hosts and hostesses! They made amazing food and I ate way too much! Then on Sunday morning we came home. Kayden stayed in his carseat from Layton to Kanab. We took him out in Kanab for almost 20 minutes, because he was so excited to be out of his carseat! It was so cute! We made the trip on Sunday in about 12 hours! Not bad for having a baby with us. He had so stinky gas though and was really tempting us to keep the windows down! HE STUNK SO BAD!This is Kayden in his Hawaiian outfit that I thought was so cute!
This is my dad with Kayden! Kayden liked his wheelchair! Funny story . . . when we were headed to see my dad, my little brother was with us, and his phone rang and he kept saying, "Okay, we are one our way . . . Okay we will hurry dad . . ." Anyway, Cameron got off the phone and said my dad had fallen out of his wheelchair and couldn't get up. So when we got to my dad's Ryan and Cameron hurried in to help my dad and he had fallen asleep on the floor. So they woke him up and picked him up (which is not an easy task . . . I am just glad Ryan was there to help Cameron). So the picked him up and I asked how he had fallen out of his wheelchair and he said he had fallen asleep and when his head bobbed it bobbed forward too far and he couldn't stop from falling. Moral of the story . . . wear a seat belt . . . even in a wheelchair!
This is the cutest Grandma in the whole world. She was so happy to have us there! Kayden would just sit there and smile at her. She thinks that he is the only baby who would smile at an old lady like she is. She makes me so happy. She hasn't been feeling that great! So I am glad that Kayden got to meet her! He doesn't know how lucky he is to have meet his great-grandma Bingham!
KAYDEN LOVES CARROTS!!! You can't tell, though, can you!
Kayden loves his dad! This was the other morning before Ryan went to work! Ryan just adores Kayden. It is the most precious thing to see when Kayden sees his dad after he gets off work! Kayden would rather see his dad than me after work!
Kayden loves the washcloth now to suck the water out of! It grosses me out so I don't let him do it very often!
This is my amazing nephew, Micajah! He has a love of soccer and would play it 24/7 if his parents allowed that! In this particular game, Micajah scored 3 goals. They lost the game 5 to 3. He was the only one to score! Kia . . . you are amazing! I love you buddy!

A Whole Lot of Firsts . . .
Well, the past couple of weeks have definetely been a learning experience in the parenting aspect of life. Kayden has changed our lives so much and we count our blessings everyday because he has blessed us so much. We enjoy being parents more and more each day as we watch him grow and progress. BUT, babies grow too fast. He isn't as cuddly as he used to because he is rolling and wants to be doing that all the time. I love it though. He seems so happy with himself once he has accomplished getting somewhere. He will just look at me and kick his little legs and punch his little fists as if he is saying, "Look at me!!! Look at what I can do."Kayden's first haircut. Gayle, Ryan's mom, did it and we had a little fun while doing it. It can be in a foohawk (below) or the 'Ryan' way (above). I think he is looking more and more like Ryan everyday. Ryan was the cutest baby too so I don't mind.
Kayden eats rice cereal every morning and night. He loves it now. It took about two weeks of trying before he would really give it a chance. You can tell he enjoys it because of his messy face.
This past weekend, we were able to go to San Diego Zoo with all the Workmans (and Westovers). It was a blast. Ryan's parents gave everyone tickets for Christmas this past year and all we had to pay for was gas and food. It was a great trip. My first Workman trip and I hope there are more to come. It was amazing! Thanks Papa and Grandma!
Kayden loves papa and papa loves his 'big boy combo'! Mark is always so willing to take time away to pay special attention to each of his grandkids. I think most people would after waiting 7 years for a grandchild.
I just love this picture. Kayden was laughing at Papa.
One of our family pictures at the Zoo!
All tuckered out! He fell asleep like this on Auntie Elsie!
Happy Easter. Kayden and Landon were Easter Bunnies and Brooke was a flower!
We went to the San Diego Temple on Sunday morning before going to the beach and coming home.
It was beautiful on the grounds. So green!
Isn't the ocean beautiful. If you look close enough the part that looks like my hair is sticking up is actually a surfer. Good timing Elyse!
It was a great little trip! We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to another sometime!
